Combating the Coronavirus
The LHS Foundation makes available some instant posters as communication tools to promote virtuous behaviours to slow the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19). Behaviours that may also be useful in general in preventing the spread of certain infectious respiratory diseases, such as seasonal flu and colds.
Safety for Future
VIDEO #SAFETY4FUTURE
In the hyper-connected world we live in, change is exponential: cobots, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, virtual and augmented reality… What we saw yesterday in science fiction films, today is reality, and this innovation process seems to progress at such a speed that we don’t even have time to realise it. How can we take the reins without being overwhelmed?
The LHS Foundation presents the new video #Safety4Future, about the relationship between work and new technologies: a look at what our life and working reality will be like in the near future, increasingly characterised by the presence of machines, but above all a warning about the importance of safeguarding our humanity and our values.
“Because technology will be increasingly useful, but it will never replace the human heart.”
LHS FOUNDATION 10 YEARS OF HISTORY
In 2020, the LHS Foundation celebrates its first 10 years of activity, committing to an even bigger project: supporting society in combating the spread of COVID-19.
Established by Saipem in 2010, the LHS Foundation was the first in Italy to believe that the issue of safety should not only be addressed in terms of obligations, prohibitions and legislative obligations but that it was necessary to introduce new and more engaging communication methods, to get people excited about these issues.
People are the heart and object of the LHS Foundation’s study: the motivations that drive them to respect or violate rules, positive leadership and toxic behaviours, “Culture” understood as “the way things are done here”, are the main issues that have been addressed in hundreds of workshops, with tens of thousands of people around the world.
A continuous growth path, not only in terms of research and study, enriched by many “Ambassadors” who have joined the ‘Italia Loves Sicurezza’ movement, one of the LHS Foundation’s most exciting projects, increasing the number of events and people involved in the Roadshow of the same name to one million participants.
Other projects cover health and safety for children, with exceptional partners such as Muba and the Italian Red Cross, but also awareness raising and sports projects with the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer; great hands-on events such as the Safety Leadership Events in the most famous Italian theatres and the Safety Leadership Award, to people who stand out for their commitment to spreading a new health and safety culture.
The LHS Foundation has used the most modern and effective methods to communicate, using film and video language, professional audiovisual productions, publications, flash mobs, live streaming broadcasts and theatrical performances using all media: radio, television, web, social networks and newspapers.
Today, the challenge is even greater, and the questions are even more difficult: how to intervene effectively to make people understand the importance of COVID-19 prevention? How will safety change in the next 10 years? What can we do to build a safer future for the younger generations?
The journey has just begun.
