In December 2018, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported an average of 1.35 million road deaths globally each year. Many of these deaths could be easily prevented by the adoption of & compliance with a simple set of fundamental rules that should be applied to any vehicle journey.
LHS Foundation ‘Safe Driving Campaign’ is designed to raise awareness of the importance of adopting & maintaining safe driving behaviors as both a driver & a passenger.
The campaign places focus on the importance of following 3 safety rules, mandatory use of seat belts, prohibition of mobile phones while driving, & not speeding. This is supported by our campaign strap line ‘Belt Up or Get Out’– ensuring that you ALWAYS fasten you safety seat belt when inside a moving vehicle.
Our efforts will concentrate on protecting our people, ensuring that every work related and even personal journey, is undertaken as safely as possible.
